Sharjah Police hosts a seminar on Consultative Council elections
Sharjah Police has hosted, at the venue of Police Science Academy, a seminar on the elections of Sharjah Emirate's Consultative Council. The seminar was held in the presence of General Commander of Sharjah Police Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi; Deputy General Commander of Sharjah Police Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amir; HE Consultant Dr. Mansour Mohammed Bin Nassar, Member of the National Committee of the Federal National Council Elections; Directors General of various Sharjah Police departments and an assemblage of Sharjah Police and Police Science Academy personnel. At the outset, a documentary film on 2015's elections and on Sharjah Emirate's achievements under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Consultant Dr. Mansour, Member of the National Committee of the Federal National Council Elections and Chairman of the Higher Committee of Consultative Council Elections has after that shed the light on the vital role played by both the Federal National Council and by Sharjah Emirate Consultative Council in the success of UAE's politics in general and Sharjah Emirate's in particular. He also talked in detail about the council's nature of work, its tasks; nomination conditions; election-related procedures and other important points. He further threw the spotlight on the value of tolerance in UAE, setting forth relevant forms and manifestations. General Commander of Sharjah Police has on his part expressed his appreciation to Consultant Dr. Mansour for his leading role in introducing the importance of the Consultative Council, urging all to take part in such important event which is held in line with directives and follow up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Finally, Major General Al Shamsi honored the organizing team of the seminar. HE Consultant Dr. Mansour Mohammed Bin Nassar also thanked Sharjah Police for its active role in enhancing safety and security and in contributing to the success of elections.
